We were delighted to be announced as one of the 25 worldwide winners of designer Annie Sloan’s 25Project competition.
The project, celebrating 25 years of the designer’s chalk paint, awarded the RVHA £250 to go towards revamping our current community space, ROCS.
To raise additional funds for refurbishments and to learn more about Annie Sloan paint and painting techniques, we’ve teamed up with local Annie Sloan stockist ‘That’s Lovely That’ in Abergavenny to offer an Annie Sloan paint workshop during October.
Martin Hall, from award-winning architects Hall + Bednarczyk, will be giving a presentation on community spaces and taking your questions on Wednesday 19 October, 7pm at Raglan Baptist Chapel.
As we start to develop our design plans, we’d love to hear from you. Share your ideas or expertise at one of our upcoming consultation events, or get involved in the project anytime by joining our open committee meetings.
Our aim for the new hub is to create a permanent home for local activity, bringing people, services and businesses together.
You’re also invited to a final consultation event on Thursday 1st December at Raglan Old Church School at 7pm. All are welcome, we hope to see you there!
