Raglan Masterchef competition

We had a right royal cook off for this year’s Raglan Masterchef competition on Sunday 14 May.

Inspired by the Queen’s sapphire jubilee, this year’s theme was ‘The Queen’s garden party’.

Congratulations to first prize winner Daphne Pettit for her majestic ‘Patriotic Pavlova’ entry.

Aprons and rossettes were awarded to the first three winners, and judges also awarded an apron and wooden spoon for two special prizes.

In true garden party style, entrants provided a feast of different dishes, from jellies to meringue and from sweet to savoury. Thank you to all those who took part and supported the village.

Many thanks to our judges Pennie Walker, Paul Davies, former Raglan Masterchef winner Jane Powell, and Nick Ramsey. Thanks also to our wonderful hosts at The Beaufort Arms Hotel.

Check out all the fabulous entries on our Facebook page.
